Biggz fuses street-born authenticity with polished production and entrepreneurial vision—backing artists with beats, mentorship, and a blueprint for legacy.
Born on May 2, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland, Brian "Biggz" Booth is a seasoned audio engineer and mastering specialist with a passion for creating exceptional sound experiences. A creative spirit since childhood, he won the "Best Drawing Award" from the Maryland Institute of Art at the tender age of 7, showcasing his early artistic prowess.
At 12, Biggz moved to Virginia Beach, VA, where he founded the rap group "The Street Team," taking charge of instrumentals and sound design. The group quickly gained traction, securing a record deal with Hood Platinum Record Label and touring alongside industry legends like Jim Jones, Big Country Kanx, Mulage, and OJ Da Juiceman.
"That's where I found my grind and my voice as a producer," Biggz says.
Diving into the realms of Audio Engineering and the Business of Music, mentored by Hip Hop pioneers Double XL and CEO P, Biggz signed his rap group members to his own "Major Movement" label. Following a successful 5-year run, he transitioned to open "Black Vinyl Recordings," a Virginia Beach studio that hosted major artists like Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Lil Boosie, Earthgang, and Moneybagg Yo.
This entrepreneurial feat propelled Biggz's career, securing a full-time position at Thomas Crown Recording Studios under super-producer Timbaland. At 25, he rekindled his passion for rapping, forming the group "World Order," which opened for Trae da Truth, Little Debbie, Stylez P, Slaughter House, Ginuwine, King Los, Twista, Mystical, Scarface, Kirko Bangz, Stitches, and Slim Jesus.
Currently, Brian owns "Prime Records," housed within the DNA Recording Studio in Virginia Beach, VA. The name "Prime Records" signifies top-notch quality, mirroring the excellence consistently delivered in his audio engineering work.
Biggz's catalog boasts over 100 production and engineering credits, including collaborations with G Herbo, EarthGang, and Moneybagg Yo. He's earned a Billboard plaque, a coveted internship at Timbaland's Thomas Crown Studios, and recognition as one of XXL's Top 3 Producers to Watch.
Notably, his collaborations with EarthGang and J.I.D. in May 2020 garnered attention from BeatStars and led to a joint publishing venture with SONY/ATV publishing.
He supports artists from concept through rollout, offering custom beats, vocal tracking, mixing, mastering, and release strategy.
I first started interning at Radio Ready owned by grammy award winner producer J. Braye back in the late 2000's, after that starting to intern for Thomas Crown "Timbaland" Studio. Here I learned how to run a professional recording studio. Afterwards, I opened my own recording studio and from there I was on a mission.
In 2024, Biggz founded the Cleven Harmony Foundation, helping youth—especially Black youth—explore sound as a path to self-expression and purpose.
His 2025 book, The Art of Calm, teaches emotional control and self-awareness with the message that "calm is power".
His lifestyle brand includes Bacarrat Biggz, Blockadee Reserve, and Blockadee Papers, all crafted to blend authenticity with sophistication.
