The Journey

Born on May 2, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland, Brian "Biggz" Booth is a seasoned producer and mixing/mastering engineer known for delivering elite sound and helping artists build careers with real structure.

At 12, Biggz moved to Virginia Beach, VA, where he founded the rap group "The Street Team," taking charge of instrumentals and sound design. The group quickly gained traction, securing a record deal with Hood Platinum Record Label and touring alongside artists including Jim Jones and OJ Da Juiceman.

"That's where I found my grind and my voice as a producer," Biggz says.

Mentored in Audio Engineering and the Business of Music by hip-hop pioneers Double XL and CEO P, Biggz launched his own Major Movement label and later opened Black Vinyl Recordings in Virginia Beach—hosting sessions with artists including Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, and more.

This momentum led to a full-time position at Thomas Crown Recording Studios under super-producer Timbaland, sharpening Biggz’s high-level studio workflow and professional standards.

Current Impact

Today, Biggz operates Prime Records in Virginia Beach, VA as an independent producer and engineer who works across the industry—supporting artists without being tied to any single label or platform.

His catalog includes 100+ production and engineering credits and career highlights such as a Billboard plaque and recognition as one of XXL's Top 3 Producers to Watch. His high-profile collaborations in 2020 also drew attention from BeatStars and helped lead to a joint publishing venture with SONY/ATV.

Biggz supports artists from concept through rollout, offering custom beats, vocal tracking, mixing, mastering, artist development, and release strategy.

Professional Experience

I first started interning at Radio Ready owned by Grammy-winning producer J. Braye back in the late 2000's, then interned at Thomas Crown (Timbaland). That’s where I learned how to run a professional studio at the highest level. From there, I built my own ecosystem.

Building a Legacy

In 2024, Biggz founded the Cleven Harmony Foundation, helping youth—especially Black youth—explore sound as a path to self-expression and purpose.

His 2025 book, The Art of Calm, teaches emotional control and self-awareness with the message that "calm is power".

He is also the author of an AI-driven music business book built to help artists and producers understand ownership, systems, and modern leverage in today’s industry.

Beyond his thriving career, Biggz is committed to guiding emerging artists with a full-stack approach—production, engineering, artist development, and strategy—so talent turns into longevity.

His mentorship and education initiatives train engineers, producers, and artists in studio management, recording, mixing, mastering, and artist development.
